Kerouac’s masterpiece influenced not just the Beat Generation, but also the Hippies who likewise explored the boundaries of society while developing alternative lifestyles.

The book is full of interesting characters, all based on real characters who dig jazz,, do drugs, have sex, and search for the meaning of it all. First class writing makes this must read easy and fun to read.

This copy was published in 1991, in very good condition for its age. Price was scratched out on back page.
