The Sixties by Richard Avedon, Doon Arbus.  Richard Avedon's is famous for his portraits.  This large book is filled with a cacophony of Yippies, Black Panthers, Weathermen, Hare Krishnas, Andy Warhol, Factory Superstars, pop artists, rock musicians, astronauts, pacifists, politicians, electroshock therapists, media correspondents, civil rights lawyers, antiwar activists, and more--all shot against his signature white background. Arbus, a novelist and writer for magazines including Rolling Stone and The Nation (and the daughter of photographer Diane Arbus), conducted interviews with many of the subjects.
The Art of the Fillmore: The Poster Series 1966-1971 This amazing book contains the complete collection of posters commisioned by the late Bill Graham for his Fillmore and Winterland venues in San Francisco and New York.  Beautiful full psychedelic color, classic rock posters from Rick Griffin, Wes Wilson, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley, Bonnie McLean, Lee Conklin and all the rest are a joy to behold!  Includes the story behind the scene, the posters and the artists.  A must for all collectors of Rock and '60s memorabilia.
High Art : A History of the Psychedelic Poster by Ted Owen, Denise Dickson.  Another great book with 250 color illustrations covering the whole movement.
Linda McCartney's Sixties : Portrait of an Era by Linda McCartney.  These famous images have appeared many times before, but the whole collection is a powerful testament to McCartney's photographic talent and her ability to capture celebrities without pretense.  Her portraits of the sixties icons reveal their innermost qualities.  A real nostalgia rush for those who remember, and a must for those who missed out.
Op to Pop : Furniture of the 1960s by Cara Greenberg.  A great resource guide for collectors. It includes every designer, manufacturer, date, and a full color photograph of every piece of pop art furniture that came out in the 60's. It also lists: every state's vintage furniture shops, current manufacturers of pop furniture, auctions carrying 60's vintage furniture, and a list of pop art-centered web sites. 
Flashing on the Sixties: Photographs by Lisa Law.  A collection of photos from the Sixties including the Human Be-In, Monterey Pop, Woodstock, and many icons of the period.  Introduction by Ram Dass.  Many of the photos are part of the Smithsonian collection from the period.
